Esto incluye el desarrollo<\/strong> de 7 nuevas Zonas de Acceso Metro y 15 nuevos<\/strong> Puntos de Presencia (PoPs) en:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Argentina, Brasil<\/strong>, Chile, Colombia<\/strong>, Costa Rica, M\u00e9xico<\/a><\/strong> y Per\u00fa, as\u00ed como un aumento<\/strong> en la capacidad de red.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Estas expansiones fortalecen<\/strong> su infraestructura de red, reafirmando el compromiso<\/strong> de ofrecer soluciones de conectividad avanzadas<\/strong>. Adem\u00e1s de apoyar la creciente demanda<\/strong> de internet de alta velocidad<\/strong> y servicios de telecomunicaciones<\/strong> avanzados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Todo con el objetivo de facilitar la transformaci\u00f3n digital<\/strong> y la innovaci\u00f3n en toda la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mayor capacidad de red con Cirion<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Cirion ha expandido<\/strong> su red de fibra \u00f3ptica<\/strong> en Latam, a\u00f1adiendo m\u00e1s de 1580 km<\/strong> de rutas de larga distancia y 447 km<\/strong> de fibra metropolitana, en 2024. Esta expansi\u00f3n ha contribuido a aumentar la capacidad<\/strong> de su red \u00f3ptica terrestre, llev\u00e1ndola a 668 Tb\/s<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A la vez que ha mejorado sus capacidades de peering<\/strong>, permitiendo el intercambio de tr\u00e1fico de m\u00e1s de 34 Tb\/s<\/strong> con otros proveedores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Estos avances han ampliado su cobertura<\/strong>, mejorando la capacidad y conexi\u00f3n<\/strong> de data centers de terceros a su red neutral pan<\/strong> latinoamericana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adem\u00e1s, ha incrementado<\/strong> la capacidad en sus sistemas de cable submarino<\/strong>; ahora ofrecen una capacidad total<\/strong> de aproximadamente 199.4 Tb\/s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nuevas zonas de acceso Metro<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Cirion ha establecido siete nuevas Zonas de Acceso Metro<\/strong> en Saltillo, Aguascalientes y Le\u00f3n en M\u00e9xico<\/strong>; Cajamarca en Per\u00fa; Bogot\u00e1<\/strong>, Funza y C\u00facuta en Colombia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dichas zonas cuentan con tecnolog\u00edas avanzadas<\/strong> de Transporte de Datos y Metro\/IP mejorando el backbone ASN 3356<\/strong>, respaldadas por las redes de Acceso de Fibra<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Estas se suman a las m\u00e1s de 110 Zonas de Acceso Metro<\/strong> existentes en la regi\u00f3n. Lo que consolida m\u00e1s la presencia<\/strong> de Cirion y su capacidad<\/strong> para ofrecer soluciones de conectividad avanzadas. Garantizando<\/strong> una conectividad robusta y confiable<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nuevos PoPs<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Adicionalmente, Cirion ha desarrollado doce nuevos PoPs de backbone<\/strong> y ha ampliado tres existentes. Los nuevos PoPs se desarrollaron en Aracaju, Curitiba<\/strong>, Santa Clara y Recife<\/strong> en Brasil. Monterrey y Durango en M\u00e9xico.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Av Los Ventos (ST1), Amun\u00e1tegui<\/strong> (ST3) y Valpara\u00edso en Chile<\/strong>; Zona Franca Bogot\u00e1, Cali y Tocancip\u00e1 en Colombia<\/strong>; Arequipa en Per\u00fa y San Jos\u00e9 en Costa Rica<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los PoPs ampliados<\/strong> se encuentran en Almafuerte, Argentina<\/strong>; Governador Valadares, Brasil<\/strong>; y Trujillo, Per\u00fa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
